Cigar box collages are an obsession. I love constructing them, the process is fussy and very satisfying. The materials I use are monotypes, relief prints, solarplate etchings, drawings and found paper. Found rusted metal objects speak to the imperfect nature of perfection. For me, they are mysterious and unpredictable.
